About Chelmsford

A large 3 acre field close to Writtle, within a large agricultural field. Our first field with giant tractor tires! Easy to get to and very close to Chelmsford. There is a shelter and a picnic table like our other fields.

The fields have 6ft high fencing and gate with a hard-standing area within the field for your vehicle so you can safely let out your dog without having to bother with leads. The fields typically have seating, drinking water (not all) and emergency poo bags. It is available for booking by the hour and is for your exclusive use.

Booking Rules

Prior Cancellation Rule
Cancellation must be done at least 12 hours before the booking time.
Prior Re-schedule Rule
Re-scheduling must be done at least 3 hours before the booking time.
Know before you go

Field Rules

Our general rules are quite simple. Let us know if you have any questions.

  • Ensure you keep the gates closed at all times, especially if you dog(s) is not on the lead.​
  • Pick up your dog(s) poo and put it in the bin provided.
  • Keep to the allotted times. Ensure you are ready and leaving the field before your time runs out so the next person isn't waiting.
  • Keep the field safe, secure and clean for others.
  • Don't bring your dog if it is unwell and ensure all vaccinations are up to date.
  • Don't leave behind toys, food, broken balls or rubbish for other dogs to eat or swallow. 
  • Ensure you and your dog have fun and exercise. There are picnic tables as well to relax.
  • We welcome your feedback and suggestions.
